WCOD went all-out when it came to jingles.  Not just the custom-made ones for local advertisers, but “image” and “shotgun” jingles that made WCOD sound like a New York City radio station.

They certainly weren’t cheap, but there’d be a fresh set of them just about every year, and Dana was never happier than when flying back from Dallas with a hot new jingle package from PAMS or Tanner or TM.
